"For a luxury hotel, there were a lot of issues. We had the towel rack come off the wall, our shower didn’t drain properly so kept flooding the toilet area, the area leading to the indoor pool was a construction zones etc. On the positive side, the location is beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the room was very comfortable."

"The location on Zanton bay is perfect. Easy accessible walks taking you around the bay to a selection of first class restaurants, catering for all tastes & budgets. We used the local buses to visit Dubrovnik which was easy & very cost effective. We would recommend a visit to Ston with its wonderful walls & medieval castle, a great find!The Hosts were charming, helpful & attentive. The accommodation was exactly as advertised. We had a brillant week, helped by good weather, which meant we could swim in the bay everyday. An exceptional holiday, we are very likely to return."

"It perhaps needs to be more specific about how little there is to do on Kolocep itself. There’s only 1 other hotel on the opposite side of the island. I bar/cafe & 1 restaurant which is linked to the hotel. Also it should be detailed that the ferries don’t always run. We visited another island and couldn’t get back so had to pay for another hotel on another island. Whilst we understand they can’t control the weather we might not have got on the first one if we’d been told they don’t run is iffy weather. The hotel itself is exactly what you’d expect from an All-Inclusive hotel. "

"We stayed in the small studio and were comfortable. There are two electric rings (hob) a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and I cooked nearly every evening.It was just a hop across the road to the sunloungers and the beautiful bay. We arranged airport transfers with our hosts and all went very smoothly. Advise getting the early bus into Dubrovnik to avoid the crowds which are fairly chaotic by 10am, although the 7.15 bus also seems to be the school bus on weekdays! The Dubrovnik pass is well worth the money as you have unlimited access to the city bus which we used to go to and from the bus station to the Old Town instead of getting off the bus after the tunnel and having a long (for me) hot walk into the old town. There is also a large Konsum supermarket by the bus station although the small Zaton Mali supermarket has most things. It was our first trip to Croatia and we were impressed with the beauty, the friendly welcome and efficiency."

"The area is nice. Its a village outside Dubrovnik about 35 minutes away by bus from the Old City. Its close to the beach. There's 1 grocery store and 1 restaurant that only serve during supper and needed advance reservation . The caretaker does not speak English at all. You need a goggle translator. The towels were crunchy Bring soap and conditioner as its not provided. It would be nice for the host to give some overview of the area . We felt that they don't care at all every time we ask them. The property is very close to 2 lane roads . No sidewalk at all scary when you need to walk to the grocery . Mind you the area is beautiful. "
