Valamar Tirena Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A wonderful stay at Valamar Tirena. Maro World and the pool with swim up bar and separate slides was a massive hit with my child. Fantastic place to relax after a morning exploring the Old Town. Food was great and of fantastic quality - everything cooked to a high standard and always plenty to choose from. Oliva bar during the day also was very nice. Staff very helpful and friendly. Room was great and the hotel was very clean. A few restaurants and shops within the complex and night entertainment was good. Area itself is lovely with a beach within a 5 minute walk with inflatables and beach bar. Option to use facilities at other hotels however we only used the Spa at the Lacroma (which was lovely) due to not needing to leave Tirena - the pool at the Lacroma has fab views as we walked passed where as the pool at the Tirena is within the garden and therefore no views but was lovely and a nice vibe. Hotel wasn’t too big, just nice. Always a few sun beds available therefore no need to reserve! Very convenient bus stop within 5 minute walk (if that!) of the hotel with a direct bus to Pile Gate - amazing!! Never waited more than 10 minutes for a bus. Hotel is great for families wanting the best of both worlds with exploring and relaxing! Would recommend!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were excellent throughout and always friendly and helpful. The views from the infinity pool were absolutely incredible, and the sunset views from the rooftop pool were stunning. Breakfast was very good, with tasty food and plenty to enjoy, although a little more variety would have made it even better. The hotel is not too far from the Old Town, and getting there was easy and affordable using Bolt taxis or the local bus service. Overall, a great place to stay and one we would happily recommend."

"It was like the White Lotos but without all the tension and the drama -(HBO show if you missed) What can I say? It was one of those places where we could relax and rest completely. All from start to finish was amazing. Welcome, room, patio, sea, pool, sunset on the other side of the island, it all made us feel special."
