"Really lovely small hotel in a great location. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. The windows were good as there was very little street noise when closed. The pool area was a welcome respite from the heat and was uncrowded, clean and well maintained. We wished there had been bar service at the pool but we saved by picking up our own beer at the market. We had no hot water during our stay; the management had repair people coming and we understand that things break sometimes - but...

"The view is gorgeous and very relaxing to sit on our room patio. The bed linens were fantastic! Very clean hotel and all staff were friendly. The pools are great however we watched a few guests slip and fall due to pool water on stone decking around the pool. Very slippery. Breakfast was superb; dinner buffet was ok"

"Outstanding service and dining in the Momenti restaurant. Staff very friendly & attentive. Terrace and pool areas were so relaxing and again great drinks service. Love the stunning view of the Adriatic and gorgeous sunsets. Coastal path just to the side of hotel, a lovely walk in the morning. Room & bed on V-Level were enormous with lots of storage & again stunning view. We will be back. "
"The property was located in an excellent area and bus no.6 is cross the street to take you to old town. The bus tickets could be purchased in the hotel and it was really easy and convenient to access the old town without a car.
The dining options are excellent, breakfast was included and had excellent choices and options. Really impressed with the whole experience at Valamar Lacroma Hotel. We also had access to the beach in the sister hotel President and the service and staff was excellent throughout the property. Highly recommend this hotel. 10 out of 10 ratings."
"Fantastic hotel with great rooms/ great service and fabulous views. Multiple restaurants and great service by the pool and the beach with cocktails and food. Sport centre is great and we used the tennis courts and pool tables but also two gyms, full Spa , table tennis , boules and many other activities in the sports centre. Location is excellent and quite just a short ride into Dubrovnik. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice. Highly recommend. Marko on the front desk was a complete star - always smiling, informative and made our stay perfect. 5stars 👏"
"They have a horizon pool overlooking the Adriatic which we never used for swimming, but we used it to have a wider view of a tremendous thunderstorm which passed over one night, a storm from which we saw plenty of lightning strikes from our comfy balcony. Breakfast is good with eggs clearly from real free-range hens evidenced by the rich orange-colored yolks, common in the Balkans. Meanwhile, the proprietor, in his youth, spent several years in the Western United States. Taxi to Dubrovnik may be wise as we found parking extremely difficult in Dubrovnik."
