"We have been staying at The Empire 1-2 times per year for 15 years to attend the ballet at Lincoln Center. It is a simple walk across the street to the theater, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. We have always been happy with our room, the staff is excellent and gracious. I highly recommend the hotel."

The rooms are a little sparse but totally adequate, the location is the best (not in the middle of throngs of people but in a lovely neighborhood), the service is great, and you even get $10 off pastry breakfast -- what's not to like? Just around the corner from the Beacon Theatre in a safe, fun area. The lounge has a well-equipped bar with friendly and knowledgeable bartenders. Will definitely stay there again when seeing a show.
