April there were ear splitting roadworks going on past midnight. "Yes, this property is 220 years old, but it is magnificent. The living room is expansive and the bedroom is huge. And it is all decorated with care and appropriateness. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and has a table for two, if you don’t want to spread out on the full dining table in the great room. We particularly liked the pillows. There were dozen on the bed, and four sofas! We can’t wait to return."

"The main road is noisy until the traffic dies down later on in the evening. The metal framed windows, even when shut, let through a high volume of road traffic noise. It was a period of unusually high temperatures by day and night when we stayed and the room we stayed in was in the loft space and therefore really warm and so the windows had to be kept open most of the time. This is by no means a complaint merely a note for other people who stay in the loft apartment who may not be as comfortable...

"Overall the stay was good. The accommodation was clean, shower is powerful and bed is comfortable. The only thing was breakfast cancelled and pub was closed for the entire stay which means no food or drink nearby. They called and told me the day before check in so I couldn’t book elsewhere. "

"The location is lovely, right around the corner from the Royal crescent. 15 min walk into town. The garage is very small, so keep in mind that it’s for a small car. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and perfect for a family of 4-6. It was such a breath of fresh air to have space after so many tiny rooms over our 10 day trip! "
