Lovely residence, clean and comfy. All staff were cheerful, polite, helpful and attentive. My youngest was thrilled about the peacocks roaming the site. Great base to explore, a day out to Bude, only 25mins away...Thoroughly enjoyable all round.

Beautiful house set in the stunning Exmoor National park is worth the 5 stars alone. However , it is the attentiveness of the owners and attention to detail that really makes Edgcott House very, very special. Room was beautifully appointed with quality fixtures, made all the more special with aromatherapy products in the bathroom and freshly baked cake left in the room each day. very clean and quiet room, nice soft towels, comfortable bed and a quiet fan was provided in the room as we stayed during a very hot spell. The owners were really friendly and helpful, and very kindly offered us the room for a couple of hours longer after check out as we were attending a funeral that morning and wanted to change afterwards. We really appreciated their thoughtfulness. Definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely hotel with large, clean, well equipped room with fabulous view up the Lynn valley. Breakfast was very easy and fry up was superb. Staff genuinely friendly. Best choice of our holidays so far, and excellent value for money - will definitely return.
