"We stayed at Secrets Tulum during low season in August for 7 days and 6 nights. After reading some mixed reviews online, we weren’t quite sure what to expect. However, any hesitation we had quickly disappeared. Based on our experience, many of the negative reviews we came across seem outdated. We booked the Preferred all-inclusive package, and overall, the food was fantastic. Jasmine and Portofino were our favourite restaurants. We also really enjoyed the variety of options at the Marketplace restaurant for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast at Jasmine was another highlight and was absolutely delicious. The Mexican restaurant was good, particularly for pizza, although we found the tacos less impressive. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Whenever we called the front desk, anything we requested was delivered promptly. What really stood out was the follow-up from management—they would call afterward to make sure everything had been taken care of and that our expectations were met. That level of service made us feel genuinely well looked after. Both the resort grounds and our room were clean, beautiful, and well maintained. We also had a wonderful experience at the spa. I did the hydrotherapy circuit as well as a massage treatment, and having visited numerous spas over the years, I can honestly say the service here was top-notch. It was one of the best spa experiences I’ve had. The only feedback I would offer is that guests could be given"

"Everything about our stay at La Zebra was perfect! If you want a small hotel with every detail considered, where the staff are ALL amazing, kind, warm and so friendly then La Zebra is for you. A beautifully styled hotel, complete with every modern touch yet embracing Mexican art and culture, it is the kind of place where you can totally relax. The food and drinks were incredible, our particular favourite was the ceviche! The staff became more like old friends, nothing was ever too much trouble. We stayed for 2 weeks and honestly wished we could have stayed longer! We would not hesitate to recommend this special place and cannot wait to return!!"

"The hotel is beautiful, our room was right outside the pool and beach. Sea sargassum is a big problem in summer months, if they would have cleaned a little bit, the beach is beautiful. Staff is friendly, restaurant on site is very convenient. Highly recommended this budget friendly hotel."
