"Brand new, exceptionally clean pod with amazing pull down bed. Well stocked with tea facilities and toilet rolls.We booked the pod for our Son as our local accommodation wasnt big enough. He loved the pod for 4 nights. My only comment is that a door blind may be helpful.Stunning views and the campsite was clean and quiet. It didnt take away the tranquility of the village.Great shop and pub next door.We cant wait to return next year when the site will be even more blended into the countryside."

"We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you."

"The indifference of the operator.......we were given an address but house numbers in Tobermoy are erratic thus to give 61 Main Street was hardly why not add 'opposurte the Cafe Fish'? And when we telephoned no one answered. In the flat the first cupboard's handle came off in our hand, the clock did not work for want of a battery and the bathroom light flickered non-stop. "Fae and Marcos are welcoming and did everything to ensure we got the best from our stay. Our room was large, with a fabulous view, the bathroom very large. All done with antique furniture and art old and new on the walls. The lovely cosy lounge with a warming fire was a great place to relax with a tot of whisky kindly offered by Marcus. You could wander around the garden or walk down to the river. Breakfast was superb and cooked to order. A perfect place to base our holiday."

Beach House on Isle of Mull

"The Beach House is centrally located on the island and a great base to explore all the main sights. There is a modern (quite gentrified) cafe/farm shop 3mins drive away, and a small supermarket 5mins drive away in the nearest town. There is a small hotel about 5mins walk away which has a bar and restaurant. The beach is accessed over a small grass airfield (we never saw a plane in our 5 days there - so don’t worry about noise) 5mins walk awayThe house itself is modern, spacious and has lots of mod cons, from Japanese-style toilets to the more conventional satellite TV. Also notable was the good wifi, despite the rural location. There is a large kitchen with everything you’d need to cook at home, all equipment was modern. The dining area opens into the garden, where you’ll also find outside seating. There is a spacious living room upstairs with two large comfy sofas and tranquil views over the garden, and over to the water. The bedrooms are a good size, with comfortable and high quality beds & bedding. There are on paper 3 bathrooms, but better to say 1 WC, 1 en suite with a large jacuzzi bath and 1 bathroom with a shower. One shower room worked just fine for our small group. We had one wrinkle on day one and it was ironed out, in person, within an hour or so. Couldn’t fault the host’s desire for us to have a great stay. I’d highly recommend the Beach House. "

"An amazing little hotel in a quiet little street in Tobermory. Lovey, compact town, everywhere is within easy walking distance but there are a few hills. The facilities were really good, nice little bar with great food. We were made to feel really welcome, even our little toy poodle, George. We all loved our 4 night stay and definitely hope to return one day. "
