"The property is beautifully decorated and there are many thoughtful touches. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hearty and made to order (although ours was a bit cold), overall I would strongly recommend a stay here. We only booked one night and regretted it."

"Had a lovely couple of days at Park Lodge. Great sleep. Lovely room. Wife appreciated the set up for hair drying and mirror in the bedroom. Only minor thing is that towels could be a bit larger. Evening meals were lovely. If having the September Chinese Trio special watch out for chillies! Breakfast was fine although full Scottish was a smaller portion than expected. Poached eggs had a different look but were tasty."

A bit too soft and springy for me as I like a good firm mattress. Room was very hot. Didn’t look like we could open a window but to be fair I didn’t ask. One thing they may wish to consider is to put a mirror in the room & not just in the en-suite. My wife dries her hair without her glasses on and couldn’t see herself from where the hairdresser plugs in to the mirror in the bathroom. This was a family room number 1."
