The house itself is lovely, the room was very comfortable, the beds were heavenly, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were accommodating when we had some delays checking in and out. The shower was the only downside--it was very hard to get the water to turn on and the water pressure was weak.

"In its heyday it was probably a lovely hotel but its tired. We were in a ground floor room (which is actually partially subterrainan) musty smell, mold on wall, peeling paint. This is not to say rhey haven't made upgrades. Bathroom fixtures are new, beds are new and comfortable, lighting is good, ..."
