"From the moment we arrived the staff couldn't have been anymore helpful. We were greeted by two warm, friendly, smiley and wonderful reception staff. Rooms were extremely comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, from the huge variety on the continental to the super tasty cooked option. We had two wonderful servers at breakfast who set up a table for us to accommodate our puppy who joined us on our trip. He was evev given a cheeky sausage at breakfast. Fantastic service, by all. Please don't come expecting the most modern decor or facilities but if you are an appreciator of old school style and don't mind a bit of mildew or peeling paint, then the Victoria is an incredible place to stay in Newquay. We brought our young spaniel and he loved it, staff were so welcoming and the place has such charm, is located *perfectly* in town with wonderful sea views. We fell in love, and we will be back! "
