"A lovely period hotel but needs quite a bit of updating. It was clean and tidy but dated bedrooms in need of modernisation and a good luck of paint."

"We had a sea view room. Nice big walk in wardrobe . The bathroom was good although the shower was Luke warm. Big bed and nice to have extra seating looking out over the balcony for two people as well as a chair at the dressing table. A small table on the balcony would be beneficial but may not have been there as we visited in April and was lucky with the weather to be sunny enough to sit on the balcony. Staff all friendly, very efficient in the restaurant and for breakfast. The decor of the room and hotel is a bit outdated but this was what we expected from a hotel of this size and age. We enjoyed our stay and would visit again."

"I was a little disappointed that the gym no longer exists. I went looking for the gym, passing through a rabbit warren of passages, until I saw a removable screen, I looked behind the screen, only to find small room full of broken equipment. Clearly it had been out of commission for a long while. "
