The access road was exciting with curves and hills - our Nissan sedan had no problem navigating it . Precise directions to the place were provided and helpful. We climbed the deck stairs & opened the door to high ceilings and a beautiful, clean interior. The ceiling fans and multitude of doors/windows offered great climate control - we were very comfortable for the duration of our stay in Sept. The king & queen beds slept very well. The first twin bed is a futon on the loft, comfortable for a futon ;-) Not sure if the couch did anything more than couch but it would have been a comfy sleeping spot. It's in the living room as mentioned in the description. We used the kitchen and found it well supplied for cooking and serving. If you need food, snacks, coffee, or drinks while you're staying, grab it from a town you pass through as there isn't a lot close by! (the very "why" we were there) This is a very quiet spot - the little seats and spaces in the home, the deck, and the views were peaceful & inspired creativity! We wished we had more down time - we discovered art supplies in the loft area and would have enjoyed using them. We were a short drive to several hikes, waterfalls, a few fire towers and the lake. It was a perfect getaway in a beautiful place. The hosts were very responsive asking throughout our stay of we needed anything. All in all, the place exists, it is well kept, quiet, and spacious. (Oh- & the water pressure is great 😀)We enjoyed our stay!
