Was cozy and the location was very convenient and the staffs were really friendly. You could tell it’s been around for quite a long time but overall satisfying as a place to stay for a couple nights.
Staff are very nice and helpful, room & environment in good condition, good experience for me, actually I think the toilet design is very smart & utilize the space
Room was clean and staff corrected a mistake they made with my payment. Hotel is older but still cozy, the AC only has 3 positions and on "High" it didnt blow as fast/cold as other hotels i stayed in. Good value for money and had a bit of Showa era charm
The staff and service are excellent. Very convenient if you are visiting University of Tokyo (5 mins walk). The price is likely one of the best in the area.
Nice hotel, but the room is small. Very good location near to Ueno station and a 25 minute walk from Akihabara. Very convenient if you are visiting University of Tokyo. Very helpful staff.

Staff was very friendly and helpful . Room definitely need updating .
Old fashioned keys and procedures (leave key at front desk when you leave). Cleaning staff was very friendly. The area is very cool, lots of interesting small businesses. Hotel restaurant isn't very vegetarian friendly. Overall a nice stay
5 min walk from train station. This was the only hotel we stayed where they clean your room daily, so that's a bonus. Also it has elevators! Next to the hotel is a curry restaurant, and it was yummy! Also, I would say it's pretty safe since the hotel is right next to a small shrine. The only problem with the train station was it didn't have elevator to use for our large suitcases ( it was 3 levels of steps to reach the subway), so we had to use taxi twice. The staff were very courteous and the room was more spacious than other hotels we had stayed in.
Hotel staff was friendly. Room was clean. Self laundry was in the back. I will definitely stay here again in the future on my next trip to Japan.
Would have stayed longer but they had no avaliable rooms for another 3 days so had to go to another hotel.
We were informed it was non smoking but the whole top floor and room smelled of cigarettes.
An affordable stay, and it served for our needs but you can get much better for comparable prices.
The staff were excellent though. Friendly and helpful.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The location of this hotel is superb, it is located In a few minutes walk from two subway stations. We also didn’t have any problems to find the dining options for us.
The room itself was clean, but amenities are outdated.
The AC was set to the heat only and there was no option to set it to a cool or a fan. The hotel has an option to buy a breakfast, which is a buffet. We gave it a try, but regretted it. It was better to find yummy food in outside restaurants for less money.
The staff was friendly.
