"Great staff and they called when room was ready and stored our luggage for us. It was a visit for my daughter's 21st birthday and the location was brilliant as she is at the uni there. Lovely, clean and quirky room and very quiet too. Breakfast was also really nice and again, great staff. "

"Suited my needs. There are a lot of shops and restaurants to buy food from. There is very limited parking spaces but there is an alternative carpark (average) 5 minutes walk away from the hotel."

"Poor value. No towels in my room; had to ask the night-porter to find some. 10am on Sunday morning: corridors littered with soiled towels my departing memory. Declined £20 for a "continental breakfast on top of £317."

"Absolutely loved our stay at the crazy bear. Staff were wonderful. Hotel was fabulous and we went to the Thai restaurant and the food was great. The whole stay was fabulous. Planning our next visit soon. Thank you for a great weekend ☺️"

"Clean, nicely decorated room. Very comfortable bed, excellent pillows, good quality floor coverings. Could have done with at least one chair. The building work detracts from the offering but at least that’s not permanent. The filtered water tap is a nice addition, as is the coffee pod machine. Only small downsides: too few towels, no sweeteners, only three hangers. "
