"On arrival checking in was easy reception staff very helpful.We had a first floor room which was clean,shower over bath was not brilliant.The room had a fusty smell as though it had been smoked in or damp???? Dinner was very good really delicious and piping hot.Breakfast would have been brilliant if it had been piping hot but it was just warm! "

"Hotel location, atmosphere, spa and room were nice. Reception staff - lovely. Bar/Restaurant Staff weren't rude but didn't seem bothered with actual service. I counted 10 dirty tables as we walked into the restaurant area, they were still all cluttered 90 minutes later. After waiting for table service for 15 minutes, I found a member of staff who asked to me follow them to the bar rather than serve us at the table, for no real reason than their convenience. We were approached once and asked whether we wished to order food but no one came back to ask as after that so we gave up. No one was rude, but no one really cared whether we were there or not. Spa was lovely and all the staff polite and engaging."

"My 96 year old mum uses a rollator and for long distances a wheelchair. There are a number of stairs to access the reception and restaurant and staff made sure there was a ramp and gave us stair free access to the restaurant via another function room. Reception also helped me to use the EV charges as you need to download an app to use them. The evening meal was superb and the after eight cocktail delicious. Hotel is in a beautiful location surrounded by an excellent golf course with a stunning view of Tewkesbury Abbey. Full marks to the staff and the chef. Will certainly stay again. "

"Our room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. It is easy to find and staff were very nice. There is very little parking so keep in mind you have to park a few minutes away but can unload in front of hotel. We used the Waterloo lot! It was $10 a day. We didn’t do breakfast because it was $35 L but there is a nice coffee shop next door!"

"The breakfasts were fine, not exceptional but aboce average. The staff were all really good and went out of their way to be helpful. The bar was well stocked and one barman in particular was very good. The room was well equipped and spotless, the bed was comfortable. "
