"I booked a small room for one night. I arrived half an hour early but wasn’t able to check in until the check in time of 2pm. Not sure if that’s because my room wasn’t ready or whether it’s strictly 2pm. Room 2 was clean and had everything I needed although I could hear the kitchen fans quite loudly until they went off around 10.30pm. It’s quite a labyrinth to get to rooms. Some clear signage pointing you in the right direction. There is some when you get near the rooms, but maybe some before then would be helpful. Onsite parking at £10 for 24 hours was good"

"the garden was lovely. real bonus as the weather was excellent. we didn't use the pools or spa but might another time! the staff were very friendly and most helpful. the building was interesting and characterful might well return there. "

"Its an old thatched pub and the room shape and conditions reflect that - sloping floors and wonky walls but the bedding , towels etc were clean and fresh. Rooms are above the bar so not quiet until the pub closes. Pub downstairs is friendly and has a good atmosphere with plenty of choice behind the bar. They serve food but I didn't try any so can't comment on that. Reasonably large attached car park although theres no covered area or anything to chain a motorcycle to."
