The house is a tidy, cozy ranch style house in a quiet neighborhood. You walk into a large room with a table to one side and living room on the other. The kitchen completes the entry. Down a hallway are the bedrooms which were clean and comfortable. One full bathroom off the hallway and one in the master bedroom gave us plenty of room to get ready in the mornings. It seemed to be a quick drive to everything we wanted to do (downtown, Zoo, trader joes, mall, expressway). We found many good places to eat within a short drive from the house. We didn't use the backyard (table, chairs, grill). However, at the end of the street were pickelball courts that were alway busy. We should have brought our paddles! If you are looking for a convenient and pleasant place to stay in Tampa, we would recommend it. ##### Kari C. The Carmen Guest House was exactly what I was looking for! The house was a really nice space, clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Easy to follow instructions from the homeowners. The neighborhood is very friendly. The owner is responsive and checked on our stay a few times to make sure we had everything we needed.
