Not up to HoJo standards

Posted 17-Dec-2015
Cons: Bathroom fixtures. More breakfast options. Soundproof rooms.
Room was spartan. You could hear all the rooms adjacent at night. Breakfast was poor. Bathroom was in need of upgrade. Overall upkeep of property was poor.

Do not stay there unless you're cheap or desperate

Posted 07-Dec-2015
Booked a non-smoking room and was given a "non-smoking" room that smelled like it had been smoked in for years. Not clean in the slighest and rooms in bad shape. Beware they will not refund if booked through 3rd party service. Highly recommend to look elsewhere.

The carpets were filthy.

Posted 01-Dec-2015
Carpets are filthy. Don't walk on them with bear feet. Heating is hot or cold. The shower took for ever to just get warm and that's all it got no hot water in the shower only warn and cold. No micro wave and no fridge.

Pros: When I went to the front desk to tell them about the missing stuff, they were very accommodating in getting me those items.
Cons: Just take care of the pigeon issue.
I got a smoking room, and there was no ashtrays in the room. It was also missing an ice bucket. No coffee maker either. I know people have smart phones, but there was no phone book. No pads of paper or pens. The hotel also has a pigeon problem. In the deck area there are bird droppings on the deck rails and the surrounding area. The areas where the birds roost can be blocked to avoid them staying there.

Adequate, but nothing fancy

Posted 25-Nov-2015
Pros: Handy location and reasonable price.
Cons: It was all okay.
Location: Lots of restaurants and not too far from downtown.
Met our criteria of affordable, handy, and adequate. Breakfast was standard continental style with waffles thrown into the mix. Tv was easy to operate.

Nice value, did the trick

Posted 10-Nov-2015
Pros: Location, Staff, Parking
Cons: The heater had two settings, lava hot or off
Location: Near Tacoma Mall and other town center with plenty of restaurants and stores.
Nice enough hotel for the money. It is located right off of I-5, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating upon check-in. The free breakfast is about what you would expect and is enough to fill you up for the morning. The room was dated, but clean and comfortable. Overall, if I had the need I would stay there again.

Reasonably priced hotel, you get what you pay for

Posted 09-Nov-2015
I paid $50/night for this hotel. There is a bus route that will take you to downtown Tacoma, but it doesn't run too late. If you have a car, it would be fine. The room was fine, the hotel a little run down. The area felt a little unsafe, but not too bad. It was worth what I paid, and probably no more than that. Plus it had breakfast, so that was convenient.

it wasn't a good stay here due to very poor area we were in front of the dumpster with old mattres. The bed was very hard and only two towels in bath room for 2 people. When I opened one of the towels it was full of holes. Never stay here, there was lots more hotel that are better on the road
