We had the most wonderful time and felt extremely comfortable. Christina made sure the house was fully equipped with anything and everything you could need on your trip. She really thought of everything! It was great for adults and children. The basement is like an entire separate living space which is great for multiple families staying together. The view from the deck was beautiful and peaceful. The house is far enough away that you get to enjoy nature but still close to all of the activities nearby. We were able to visit Winter Park, Fraser, Granby and Rocky Mountain National Park among many other locations. The home was in a good central location for exploring. There really was nothing negative about staying here. If you're looking for a central location fully equipped with everything you need, you've found it. I would recommend this to anyone and the kids are already asking when we will be back to visit again. We were so lucky to see 3 Moose move through the property! Mule deer and fawns grazed daily. The wild life was amazing. The house was comfortable throughout the temperature changes, 35 degrees in the morning and 85 during the day. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were up to date and spotless! The kitchen was easy to prepare meals when we didn’t want to eat out in the area great restaurants. Christina is a wonderful and thoughtful host and her property is even more amazing in person than the pictures can describe. The house has beautiful views, is easy to access (even in winter), and is beautifully furnished with high quality furnishings, bedding, kitchen appliances and pots and pans. A great deal of thoughtfulness has gone into making sure everything you could possibly want or need is there and available. It's setup very well with basically two living spaces and worked well for grandparents upstairs and a young family downstairs.We've stayed in many rental properties over the years and Highland Haus was by far the best experience ever.
