Location was fantastic and beautiful classic hotel with helpful staff. The pool/garden arrangement is odd and dated (and costs €30 a day if not included) not being able to access the promenade directly from the hotel was frustrating - a huge missed opportunity for them not to open all that up as restaurant/bar - I would flip the pool to the terrace! Anyway it was good and would go again

We were a family of 10 with two small boys, two babies, two grandparents and 4 other adults. The hotel looked after our needs very well.We had 4 rooms, one large with an extra very comfortable roll-away bed and another large with cots for the twin babies.the other two rooms were small as were their bathrooms - elegant but definitely small! Everyone was friendly and helpful from the lovely receptionists to the room staff.

A dream place for holiday stay. The dinner was excellent, as well the service. Only a bit pity is the afternoon coffee took longer time to wait.

Really nice hotel in a great location, don't fool yourself into thinking you can walk there with you case from the station though - It's not far but it's a massive hill. The staff throughout could not be more helpful and friendly, they really make the stay. The only thing is that it is very expensive, breakfast is CHF40 and diner at any of the hotel's restaurants is very expensive (but also very nice!!). There are plenty of good alternatives within an easy walk though. I would highly recommend...

The hotel is right by the station which is very handy for a multi centre holiday and it is very central for everything you may want to do in Bern. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The roof terrace is beautiful and the rooms are really well equipped really comfy beds and brilliant showers. We didn’t eat at the restaurant so can’t comment on that, breakfast was 40 chf per head which seemed a lot so we used local cafes instead. There was also a 200 chf deposit per night … we were there 3...

We stayed there to watch my brother do a half ironman, it was a good location for the event which was a short train ride, the train station was a quick downhill walk from the hotel and slow uphill walk on way back. I loved the hotel and was really pleased with it, the food at the restaurant is really nice, the rooms very cool and the view to die for. Would love to stay again and have more time to get to the chocolate factory !

Great hotel for the event - literally opposite, a 3-minute walk! Plenty of convenience stores and close to the train station. Really enjoyed my stay. Loved the unexpected upgrade to a room with kitchenette facilities, which was a lifesaver with eating out being pricey.

Excellent hotel in great location. Breakfast and dinner first class

Very central. Lovely courtyard. Special requests were met. Early check in and late check out provided. Staff were generally very accommodating.

Great location for exploring the city on foot. Instructions for checking in and out including all information needed for our stay were super clear and helpful. Facilities at the hotel were also great. The room itself was compact but incredibly clean and had everything one would need for a comfortable stay.
