One of the best

Booked the hotel when attending our son's graduation, wanted something out of town with a restaurant. The hotel did not disappoint, as the hotel only has 5 rooms it has a nice friendly atmosphere, decor in the rooms is modern, the room was very spacious, excellent comfy bed and a very nice breakfast. We also had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was very good and nice to try something different with the South African dishes.

Good food nice place to stay

Had a one night stopover, room was spacious and very clean with a super comfy bed. Breakfast next morning was excellent, plenty of choice.

This is a gastropub with new accommodation in what appears to be an old stable block behind, stylishly and sensibly converted. The bed, bath and other facilities were excellent -- and the food even moreso. Beautiful hotel, recently renovated which means they have state of the showers, beautiful throws and proper duvets, spotless white gorgeous bedding, fantastic decor throughout the hotel. The rooms are separated slightly from the fullers pub with a separate entrance. The hotel is easy accessible via the eighth floor of the adjoining car park, which takes you straight into the hotel reception. The hotel is very clean and stylish, however we wasn’t aware that it was very high up. We was on the 16th floor and my son was very scared to look out of the bedroom window or go into the lift. Beautiful property and perfect location. Plenty of parking available inside a gated courtyard. Owners greet you, show you to your apartment and provide you with all the needed codes. The apartment was spotless, well decorated and had everything you could need, including toiletries, tea, coffee and cooking equipment. The owners were friendly and even provided recommendations for local shops and cafés. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Great initial welcome from Mike, backed up by some wonderful idiosyncratic features that uplifted the stay. Complimentary Sipsmiths Sloe Gin in the room, choice of two single malt whiskies (also complimentary) and freshly brewed coffee at the refreshments station were unexpected and warmly enjoyed! The room was cosy and clean and lovely with an amazing shower. And plenty of hot water. Bed was super comfy and I slept very well. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Easy quick check-in. Room average size with good size bed. Bathroom good, tea/coffee facilities excellent. Steak meal was excellent.

Amazing hotel and restaurant. 1215 restaurant food was amazing.
