Nobody greets you or even look at you, they avoid eye contact. Definitely didn't feel welcome. Hotel itself it's fine and basi amenities need improvement and easier access to use them. The safari drives are chaotic needs more planning and organization. Before travelling, I had mentioned a very personal hope – that I might somehow reconnect with my nanny who cared for me when I lived here as a small child over 30 years ago. It felt like an impossible dream, yet Sherly quietly made it happen. She found her and arranged for us to meet, creating one of the most emotional and meaningful moments of my life. Sherly continued to exceed expectations throughout our stay. When our hot air balloon trip was cancelled due to wind, she personally helped arrange the refund. When we realised we had accidentally booked our airport transfer for the wrong day, she immediately organised a new one and made sure we reached the airport in time. Her warmth, kindness and calm professionalism made us feel completely looked after. The Palace itself is magnificent, but staff like Sherly elevate the experience from wonderful to unforgettable. She is an outstanding ambassador for the hotel and truly deserves recognition. We cannot wait to return!"
