There are better places nearby

Posted 21-Aug-2016
Pros: window actually opened coffee and tea available at all times they left plenty of soap and shampoo each day sink outside of bath room
Cons: too much to list see above
Location: great walking and bike paths nearby. easy to get to I 70. Many hiking trails nearby.
Met expectations as reserved: a room with king, fridge (but very low about 15 inches high), micro (on top of low fridge so had to bend) continental breakfast of coffee, juice, bread, cereal, donuts peephole and dead bolt did not meet sink too low (barely above my knees) no light on one side of bed not enough outlets outlet by clothes rack had no juice layout not functional (desk should be on wall with TV not wall with bed) to make flow better morning staff indifferent, always on phone never gave full attention morning cereal in open containers with no lid no latch in place for partial door opening TV listing as given in room was incorrect and front staff was couldn't help only one trash container - should be one for room and one for bath 1 desk chair with wheels too big for desk (arm caught under lip), 1 other chair for..... not for eating a snack Wifi not available from midnight until 7 am and also very slow. Out one day. Often could not connect at all. If there is nowhere else to stay, this will do but we won't stay again.

Clean and Comfortable

Posted 07-Aug-2016
Stayed here the night before a road bike ride at Copper. Hotel itself is no great shakes, but the rooms were clean, comfortable, and stocked with the usual amenities. Location is pretty good with several restaurant options near by. Beds were comfortable. For the price I consider it to be a good deal

Simply adequate

Posted 12-Jul-2016
Pros: Frig' and microwave in the room. Close to shopping, restaurants and the venue where I was attending a conference.
Location: Outlet stores, restaurants, lake, conference center.
Clean, nothing fancy but adequate accommodations. Friendly, attentive staff. Close to multiple restaurants, shopping areas. The continental breakfast is very spare but I brought my own food ('frig and microwave in the room). I'd stay there again.

I would never stay here again, and would highly advise staying somewhere else. The guests at this particular location were very shady. Do yourself a favor and spend more on your hotel stay else where.

Not my best stay.

Posted 26-May-2016 on Hotels
I did not enjoy my stay here. I was greeted by a rude desk attendant. The room was not clean. Something kept pokeing me in the bed so I lifted the sheet to see what the matter was and deconstruct to be covered in hair. It freaked me out. I would not stay here again.

Decent accommodations for the price.

Posted 22-Apr-2016
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and seemed relatively new.
Cons: Sound insulation, can hear sounds, talking from adjacent rooms. Continental breakfast not very impressive, but will do in a pinch.
Location: Plenty to do - it's Summit County.
Stayed two nights during a ski weekend. Had a late check in the first night but no problem. There are a couple stairways leading to the second floor, with about 20 steps each, but no elevator.

Okay place to sleep.

Posted 20-Apr-2016
Pros: Decent price, location, quiet.
Cons: Needs upgrading, better food options, flip the mattresses on a regular basis.
Location: Close to shopping, highway.
I spent 6 nights here recently. The mattress on the bed was in serious need of flipping. The side most people sleep on (next to the light, clock, etc.) was quite saggy, but the other side was nicely firm. Flip the mattress, people!! Breakfast was a bit sad (cereal, instant oatmeal, watered-down juice, etc.), and the only proteins offered were peanut butter and cream cheese. The staff was friendly enough, but was not at the desk through the night. Cleaning staff seemed to do a good job in the room. The heating system in the room was a bit of a challenge to learn. And although I did not utilize the pool or spa, I did check them out. The pool is quite small, and the spa seemed to be missing a grate along the side (not sure that would pass inspection by the health dept.). All in all, it was a decent place to sleep a night or two, but I will probably spend a little more next time on a better place.

Gets the job done for inexpensive stay in mts

Posted 19-Apr-2016 on Orbitz
I have stayed here several times for staying in the mountains to snowboard. The price can be found at a good price often times but you get what you pay for. A few rooms the bathroom doors don't lock (no really a big deal). My keys always kept "demagnetizing" for no reason and I would constantly have to get the cards reprogrammed which is annoying. I have been at this hotel at least twice every season for the last 4 years and staff always seems to hate their lives and will sometimes be short with you. However this hotel allows me to bring my dog which is a plus. Breakfast consist of cereal, bagels, toast, and old cheap donuts. Bottom line it gets the job done for a lower price.

This hotel was fine, it's not luxury but it was clean, comfortable, and affordable.
