Great value

Posted 04-Apr-2016
Location: Great centrally located hotel for any ski trip.
Got in late, key was waiting for us. The room was huge which was a bit unexpected for this type of building. Nice to have 24hr coffee/tea. Very comfortable lobby and sitting/reading room. Happy hour was a nice surprise, great selection of beers.

Could have been better

Posted 10-Feb-2016
Pros: LOCATION
Cons: The furniture in the room, the mattress was awful and there was no storage, hooks or shelves to sit stuff out to dry
Location: Right on Main Street, close to everything in town. Also, great hub if skiing Keystone, Arapahoe Basin, Copper Mountain, Beaver Creek or Breck
The staff were generally friendly, however the owner (Roger) was not very social. He was curt and not very accommodating. Joseph was very friendly and bent over backwards to make our 6 night stay enjoyable. The complimentary beer each evening was a very nice touch, as well as the complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and hot apple cider. The hotel has a FABULOUS location, is definitely dated and needs more shelves, hooks or storage for skiing gear. There were only 2 of us in the room and there was no where to place anything. Also, the heat was constantly on, we had the window open constantly. One day the room was not even made up, or clean towels brought. The girl on duty said they "usually don't unless you ask us to...because some people want us to and some don't". There was not printer to print off boarding passes, which would have been nice. The wifi was good, the fireplace was great and we overall had a nice stay. Also, they have menus for all of the local restaurants in the lobby, which was great for first time visitors!

Posted 28-Jan-2016
Hotel is bit up , with ho9les in the wall , dirty walls. Just needs remodel. Fact it is old would not be bad if it would be upgraded , actually with remodel could be wonderful boutique hotel.

Pros: competitive pricing. location close to ski areas.
Cons: doors between rooms. not much privacy from neighboring room guests with thin walls and hardwood door.
located 30 minutes from Vail, 15 minutes from Breckenridge. adjacent to several restaurant options.

Two bedroom suite review at Hotel Frisco

Posted 10-Jan-2016 on Hotels
Stayed early January 2016 The good. The Ski boot dryer on the 3rd floor worked and was easy to use. The two bedroom suite was spacious and had a lot to offer including: A double sink, DVD player, mini fridge, kitchen sink, cabinets, microwave, full dressers. The hotel was cozy and close to many things. The room was the closest 2nd floor room to the parking lot. The library was awesome and has games, movies and books, enough that we did not need to bring movies/books for my 9 and 6 year old girls. The bad. My wife swears the beds were not queens but double beds. I cannot confirm or deny this. The doors (one where the TV is and one in the 2nd bedroom) to the balcony would not seal. The TV room door had a gap at the bottom that let light in. This made it impossible to get the entire area a comfortable temperature. Also the balcony was not cleared so there was snow and ice on it making it impossible to use. The shower head would not move and was pointed to the shower wall. The water temperature was scalding hot. My 6 year old burned herself (not badly but enough to make her cry). The entry door handle and deadbolt was loose and difficult to work. As other reviews have stated the hotel needs to be updated and is run down. The verdict. We come to the area at least 6 times a year so we are going to keep looking. If you are about location, convenience and a friendly, homely feel, stay here.

Great location except being right on the street the nightlife was very loud and went very late. The service was great and I will definitely stay again.

Hotel Frisco - Great location

Posted 05-Jan-2016
Pros: Location, amenities, staff
Cons: Upgrade rooms
Location: This hotel is located in the quaint town of Frisco CO & is close by Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain ski resorts.
This hotel is located in the quaint town of Frisco CO & is close by Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain ski resorts. I was able to get a decent price on a King Executive suite for New Years Eve - 3 Jan 2016. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful & the parking was very convenient. Shuttles were close by for free transportation to Silverthorn or the local ski resorts. Within walking distance were great restaurants as well. The hotel room had a jacuzzi tub, refridgerator, several HBO channels, free wi-fi, a library with books, games, videos and an outdoor hot tub. I was disappointed with the general condition of the room & would have preferred a condo with full kitchen if staying more than a night or 2. Room was just a bit small for a 3-night stay.
