Previous time I stayed it was nice

Posted 28-Oct-2015
My wife booked a room for one night. I had a trailer and was not able to find overnight parking. The front desk closes at 9 and I arrived at 9:15 and I was not able to reach anyone. I had to stay somewhere else due to a lack of trailer parking. I left a note at the front desk and emailed them about not being able to stay and have not heard back from them. Paid full price for a room and never even had a glimpse of hope for a partial refund. It would be nice if they would have called me or emailed back the next morning.

Pros: It is in a central location.
Cons: The bathroom tile is cracked and not calked. The carpet is old and musty. They provided makeup removers on my first night, but not on the 2nd night.
The lady at the front desk was helpful. The hotel needs updating, but is clean.

New Ownership Not So Good

Posted 06-Oct-2015
Pros: We love the location in the town of Frisco.
Cons: Owners should think and operate with customers in mind instead of $$$$
Location: Skiing, Dining, Shopping, Boating
We used to stay at this hotel quiet often and always very much enjoyed our stay. Since the new owners took over in 2013 we have stayed there twice and were disappointed each time. The negatives are: 1) They removed the lounge and replaced it with another room which I assume is to get more revenue. It was always nice to relax in the hotel lounge with a glass of wine, guess comfort to guests does not matter to new owners. 2) They do not allow glass anywhere in the hotel. Given the lounge no longer exists now we cant even bring a bottle of wine to our room to enjoy. Again not focused on comfort of guests. 3) Hot tub is off limits after 9:00pm which is about the time we return from dinner. Again not focused on comfort of guests. 4) We have been going to this hotel for about 7 years and it's always been very welcoming to dogs. Now they charge $100 if you want to bring your dog. There is NO hotel I have every run across that charges that much extra for a pet. With this fee they are basically saying they don't like pets in there hotel.

Pros: It was clean, had a library with games/books. The bathroom facilities were nice. Pillows were very comfortable. Not noises.
Cons: Fix the air quality - there was a fan in the window to suck in the cool air.
Location: Right in the middle of town, just minutes from restaurants, stores, walking paths, park, hiking paths. Just off Interstate 70
Enjoyed the town of Frisco and surrounding mountains. Not many tourist !!! Good time of year to go there. Enjoyed visiting with the locals. Enjoyed the trails, walking paths, disc golf and the food. Food was pricey but not over priced for the quality of wonderful dishes.

Hotel is basic and has a bed/shower. Fairly clean. Great location. The one employee we saw never talked, not even a greeting. Didn't tell us where to park, where the room was, check out info, anything; literally gave us a key and then had a basket to drop the key in for check out. Window didn't have a screen but it didn't stay open anyway. Overall it served its purpose as a place to stay but wouldn't go back.

Great location and staff, but.....

Posted 14-Sep-2015
Pros: PROS: A great location within walking distance to a dozen bars, cafes and restaurants. Nice staff with great recommendations to many places.
Cons: Lots of other deferred maintenance
Location: Frisco is my favorite town and the location of Frisco Hotel was superb. Breck is nearby and Vail is close while Denver is only an hour away.
Stayed for 3 nights during the week of September 7th 2015. CONS: Our particular room had a broken window and NO screen and NO air conditioning in ANY rooms. This meant that when we lifted our window up, it was completely open to the outside. I used a Bible to hold the window up. Our room was on the ground floor RIGHT by the Hottub which also meant that, 5 feet away from our open window, there were people in the tub. Our room, 101, was SO small. This made no sense seeing that there were many other larger rooms at the same price. Plan on staying during cooler months since there is no air con in any rooms.

No frill basics

Posted 04-Sep-2015
Pros: The price, the location, free parking.
Cons: Lighting in the parking lot.
Location: Located in the middle of town within walking distance of entertainment, food, and shopping. Close drive to many outdoor opportunities in all seasons.
If you are looking for a place to sleep without paying for the thrills, this place is for you. Conveniently located in the middle of Main Street in Frisco, it is within walking distance of dozens of eating establishments. The room is small but with some great amenities...refrigerator with an actual freezer, microwave, coffee maker, and plenty of electrical outlets. No a/c, but a fan in the window provided cool air. My only criticism of the hotel is that the parking lot is across the alley behind the hotel, and there are absolutely no lights in the parking lot. As a single female, I was very nervous walking from my car to the back door of the hotel. And the back door to the hotel, which is supposed to be locked at 9pm, was unlocked at 11pm.

Nice hotel in the middle of Frisco

Posted 27-Aug-2015
Pros: location, location, location! great bed + big bathroom
Great location, in the middle of town, lots of dining & shopping, walking distance to Lake Dillion & Marina. 1 hour drive from west Denver suburbs. Very cozy hotel!
