"The beds are a bit firm for my taste but the experience was awesome. Staff was so nice and helpful. The drinks are on point and the restaurant is very good. I recommend the pork belly banh mi for lunch. In late May, it is nice and quiet on the beach. The pool was never overcrowded and the chair rental for the beach was extremely affordable."

"Our stay was disappointing. The AC stopped working on the second night. the employee who came up insisted it was blowing cool air, even though it clearly wasn't. I gave it more time to see if it improved but it never did. Around 2 AM, I called again and explained that if the issue couldn't be fixed, I would prefer to check out the next day. After some back and forth, we were finally moved to another room. Unfortunately, that room had a gnat problem, with a worrisome amount of gnats flying around. Overall, the handling of the AC issue and the condition of the replacement room made for a very frustrating experience."

"The location is convenient to everything in Saint Augustine and Saint Augustine Beach. The staff was very professional. Breakfast was OK, not great, but OK. It seems all hotels are serving those fluorescent yellow reconstituted scrambled eggs. YUCK! I did have yogurt and hot coffee."

"Pool area is amazing!! Everything is great and beautiful! But just to use all the amenities it is better to stay at the main tower, not at the Lodge. I booked the room at Lodge just because I wanted to have a better view of the ocean (so I booked an ocean view). That was the only reason! To open the patio door and see the beach! My room ended up being facing the dumpster, and a tent that they have on the side of the property, the entrance of the parking lot… and I could barely see a little bit of the ocean far away on the side. We didn’t say anything about it because they helped us with early check in so we could have lunch at the restaurant there. Plus the room cleanliness is not the same as the tower, we found some housekeeping issues. So I would go back to the property but to the main tower only!"
