"Everything was nice and clean I was just missing iron and hair dryer in my room other than that everything was good."

"Great hotel - stayed with friends for a weekend away for a festival nearby and all was great. Rooms a bit tired but very clean and beds comfy with good showers. Breakfast was excellent - not too busy and lots of choice and good quality. Will definitely be back."

Crowne Plaza Hotel Marlow by IHG

Crowne Plaza Hotel Marlow by IHG

8/10 Good
"Picking a Suite, with a "balcony", I was expecting a completely different room. The Suite had a sliding patio door that opened up onto a balcony at floor level that overlooked the CAR PARK. I did not feel safe or secure having only a patio door out to the car park. The "balcony" should NOT be advertised for this room, it was dreadful. The floor was "decking" that was horrid. You could reasonably expect to go onto your typical balcony in bare feet, but you would never do that there. The only positive thing I can say about the room was the excellent water pressure so the showers were great. My wife actually had to go out and buy a pillow, as her sleep was dreadful in the hotel bed."

Village Hotel Reading

Village Hotel Reading

10/10 Excellent
"New village hotel set on the river between Reading and Caversham. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had to pay £10 for overnight parking and £5 for overnight use of the facilities (pool and gym). The room was large with good bathroom and shower. Very good blackout blinds. Large TV, good WiFi, kettle - coffee and tea, air conditioning. Very comfortable bed. Great facilities-pool,sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. There is a Starbucks on site and a large bar and cafe area. We enjoyed walking along the river and using the pool. We found a pub that did very good Indonesian and Asian food close by and a very good local cafe for lunch. A very enjoyable overnight stay."

8/10 Good
"My fiancé and I stayed for 1 night as we came up from Plymouth for a wedding reception. We were lucky enough to be given a corner room, and despite it being a long walk from reception, the room was lovely. The staff were very kind and brought some goodies to our room. Parking was good and convenient, however the car park seemed to be full of entitled people. People who decided that they’re allowed to take up 2 spaces with their one car. Strange behaviour. I feel as though some kind of parking enforcement should be in place to prevent this. Otherwise the hotel is great for a short stay."
