"The cottage was just perfect for a do nothing weekend. We have an elderly dog who loved the spacious garden and meadow. The cottage was just right and the hearth was a welcome addition to be lit in the evening. Location and local pubs and places to eat were excellent. Thank you so much Jenny, we’ll be back!"

Our only complaint is that a hot tub was advertised but was non existent which was a huge misrepresentation by Vrbo on the property details. "This is a perfect place to relax and unwind if you're looking for peace and gorgeous farmland. Lots of footpaths nearby, including a nature preserve. A car is necessary to get to nearby attractions like Stonor Park or Waddeston but it would be possible to spend a long weekend here and walk to a nearby pub or creamery that makes decision cheese. Lots of farm stands too, to stock up on locally raised produce. We used the kitchen a lot and found it adequate for all our needs. The family is lovely...

"Overall this is a great property. Very secluded but near to main roads and easy access to amenities. There are however a few things that would have made a vast improvement to the property considering the cost to rent. The sitting room could do with more and better seating. Considering this is for 4 people, 2 small sofas is not sufficient for evening comfort especially considering the dining area can accommodate 8 people.
