Top Midgham Hotel Reviews

Hampshire Court Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Nice and clean room , very helpful and welcoming reception staff."

Novotel Reading Centre

8/10 Good

"Great location right in the heart of the city centre, with easy access to public transportation. The staff were very welcoming, professional, and always willing to help, which made the overall experience even more enjoyable. Cleanliness was generally good, although there is some room for improvement. Breakfast offered a good variety of options to suit different tastes, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The gym was well-equipped and clean, and I particularly enjoyed my workout session. The swimming pool was fun, although the water was a little cold. The sauna and steam room, on the other hand, were absolutely amazing! One small recommendation would be to consider adding more Rituals diffusers, or increasing their presence, in the reception area and guest rooms to enhance the overall atmosphere and create an even more welcoming experience. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!"

Danesfield House Hotel And Spa

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed a 2 night family stay at Danesfield House in 3 rooms. The staff were very welcoming and helpful during a celebratory birthday stay. Breakfast was plentiful each morning which set us up for the day. Autumnal weather made the walking around the garden enjoyable as well as in Marlow town. My niece also found the Illuminata Spa massage relaxing after a busy week. Special mention to the experienced waiter ( who we’ve met in previous stays ) for his kindness and attention."

Easthampstead Park

10/10 Excellent

"I stayed in the annex building above the gym while working nearby. The receptionist was very friendly and talkative and rhe room only a short walk from the main hotel. The room was comfortable and clean, with nice views over the woodland. The bathroom skylights were a nice touch, especially with the heavy rain. Breakfast was rather nice, with a good selection of buffet style food of a good quality."

De Vere Wokefield Estate

8/10 Good

"As a family of three I booked a room that would be suitable for me and my two sons (19 and 14). We were placed in Wellington Lodge which is about a 10 - 15 min walk from the main building. This wasn't a massive problem for us but it was raining on our first night and something to be aware of if you are booking a room, maybe call and check first if it is a problem for you as the buildings are quite spread out. The Mansion house looks impressive and it is, although there wasn't really much happening in there except for breakfast and an empty bar. Seemed a bit of a shame really as the building is amazing. The breakfast was pretty good but I couldn't help thinking that its a shame that the breakfast room isn't open as a cafe during the day serving panini's and snacks, seemed a bit of a wasted opportunity really. Wokefield place is the main place to be, you can get a drink at the bar, watch sports and play pool but it serves the same menu as The View restaurant which was a little disappointing and expensive. The pool and gym are OK. The driving range was good. There was no information in our room, menus, eating times etc. Overall we had a nice break."

Berkshire Arms by Chef and Brewer Collection

8/10 Good

"Decor was rather shabby, and there appeared to be water marks down the wall with the window and some signs of damp although room didnt smell damp. Also water from the shower wet the bathroom floor and with no mat provided it left the room rather unpleasant to use afterwards. Breakfast was good although the cooked breakfast could have been a bit hotter in particular the baked beans. Staff were helpful and pleasant."
