"Great location and huge hotel. Booked it for my son’s birthday as we were going to Legoland the next day. Room was a great size but very hot due to the weather - no air con in the rooms so hotel had provided fans but the plugs were on the other side of the room so fans couldn’t reach us in bed - needless to say we had a very poor nights sleep. Equally problematic was the lack of plug sockets near or by the bed - there weren’t any, So we couldn’t charge phones or devices, nor could we use the room’s mini fridge to keep water cold because the fans were using up all free sockets.
Also disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed the previous month for over 6 months - one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was for the pool. Not once did we receive communication that it would be closed during our stay.
However staff were super friendly and kind to my son especially, and the breakfast we had was good. Overall hotel is nice, just some key things let it down"
