"The Harbour View Inn, is a truly exceptional, elegant, and most importantly welcoming hotel! It starts at the front desk and continues throughout the entire property; from room service to restaurant staff - all share the same genuine desire to assist guests with a smile. Their professionalism and kindness make you feel like family! If you want a memorable experience, I highly recommend the Harbour View Inn. A special shout-out to Kelley, who went above and beyond her obligations to coordinate a very special 50th-anniversary dinner for my wife and me! One more shout-out to Sally for her warm personality and incredible smile - and she allowed me to ring the front doorbell under Kelley's careful supervision. I will never forget this truly special and excellent experience – thank you from the bottom of my heart. We will speak of the Harbour View Inn for years to come. Whatever stress you may have - disappears the moment you walk through the front door. Trumpets are sounding!!"

"This hotel is large and has an attached water park. When it was built and last refurbished, it was a quality place. Now, after so much use, it is shabby in some ways. However, the room was clean and the bedding and towels were above average. The mattresses are good. There is a mildew smell in the hall leading to the water park addition, but my roomed smelled fine. Staff is very friendly and helpful. It is dog friendly for a fee. I’ve stayed here 5 or so times and never had a bad experience. There is a beautiful beach with easy access right outside the back door. There is indeed a bridge vista of the Mackinac Bridge and you can watch the ferry boats coming and going to Mackinaw island. It is enchanting at night. There is good coffee available in the morning. No breakfast, although there are discount coupons for some of the local places. I only know of one hotel in the city that offers breakfast, so this is not unusual. Ample parking is available with a secure lot. Outside doors of the hotel are not locked at night, although there are good deadbolts on the room doors with easy electronic keys."

"Absolutely loved this place! We were talking that we enjoyed it more than the Grand Hotel because of the ambiance, location, the view, breakfast and the porch. It's within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants and if you choose, you can bike or take a taxi. Room was very nice, shower nice and it was quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful. Seriously would stay again."

"The location was great just short walk to see the bridge.The room needed work the tub shower fixtures were all shot sink drain not working properly.And furniture is really ready to go.And was expecting are continental breakfast.Didn’t like the places you wanted to send us for breakfast"
