"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Overall, the Double Tree is a lovely hotel with very helpful staff and great customer service. The only downside in our experience was the pillows (1 too small and 1 too big), seems to be quite common these days, but we couldn’t sleep properly on either of them. Also, the food prices are quite expensive (breakfast is approx. £17 and a basic pizza will set you back £21 if delivered to your room)."

"For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting it to be any good but that was not the case. Room was clean and tidy, comfy bed and a little balcony. The only issue I had was the shower, it was tiny I could barely lift my arms up, but that wouldn’t stop me from going back again. Friendly staff and the breakfast absolutely gorgeous so tasty and cooked fresh I would recommend 100% and I will be back."
