"Unfortunately, the property did not meet reasonable cleanliness or maintenance standards. On arrival, the oven and hob were visibly dirty with grease and residue, and the kitchen overall did not appear to have been properly cleaned. There was no bin provided anywhere in the property, only loose bin bags left for guests to manage waste themselves. The bathroom showed visible mould around the shower area. "Gorgeous property, entrance, bar, decorations in the communal spaces all lovely. However, what I would call top show. We stayed in a room within the old building, which to be honest could do with updating. Carpets a bit on the weary side, internal doors not the best, bathroom needs upgrading, old bath either shower over, small head etc. bathroom window did not have an opening. Given our dinner was delicious we were let down by the Breakfast which was average and not what was expected of such an establishment. Pastries soft, buffet breakfast was pretty tough, scrambled egg, never had worse in fact it could have been powdered. Swimming pool was great along with the sauna, steam room etc. Overall we had a lovely time but improvements can be made."
