"The hotel was clean, only downside is lots of flies in the restaurant area around the windows and in our room the paintwork was a bit shoddy. Tea and coffee was filled back up daily. Reception staff were friendly enough, as restaurant staff. Did witness one woman in particular who was bringing food out drop food on 3 guests and also some on the floor . We hadn't planned to go in the caves initially, as the hotel was a base more so for us, but we did in the end and they were good..would have been nice to have done an add on ticket at a reduced price as we were staying in the hotel though..i know you can do this whilst booking, but would've been nice to still have had it as an option. All in all avery pleasant place to stay."

"A unique experience, totally in a good way. They've somehow retrofitted a 14th century building with modern amenities while maintaining its historic charm. Loved our suite! Staff was personable and professional. Great food as well! Little English flower garden in the back. Lovely place!"

"We had a great weekend, didnt stay inside the hotel we had a room in a cottage just across the road, the room was lovely and spacious but up 1 flight of very narrow stairs, We had a lovely meal 1 evening in the hotel , we didnt have breakfast in the hotel as my partner cannot walk very far but was happier in the quiet cottage the bed was so big and comfortable we was asked by one member of staff for feed back as they are looking to refurbishment soon ."
