Everything good, I stay here fore 2 night and spent most of the time away, but good restaurant with good service, and good steak, I planned to rent a car but with left hand traffic I skip the car and bought a 3 day pass to Bus and traines for 20 Euro (Called Leap pass) and the bus station is just outside of the hotel and take ca 20 min to the city center. The room was 100 % clean and comfort. You can hear other guests in the hallway but did not bother me.
We came to Dublin to see our son and his family. We stayed in this hotel, as we have many times before, from 18 to 21 March,2016 in room 517.We noticed, on entering the room that the bathroom lights weren't working. I reported this immediately to reception, and was assured this would be attended to. My husband reported the problem again, as no action was taken, and I did the same the folllowing day.We checked out on Monday 21 March, with bathroom lights still not in working order. We consider this very poor sevice, to the point of contravening Health and Safety, as we were unable to see where things were, or what we were doing For a hotel of this quality, we were most unhappy about this situation, and feel the standards have dropped from Bewley's standard since Clayton's took it over.
