Great place to stay while visiting Steubenville. Plenty of (well-lit) parking, a few places to eat right next door to the hotel, good breakfast included. The only downside was the noise above my room (heavy footsteps, scraping sounds of furniture being moved) which made it difficult to sleep for a couple of nights.

Good place. Would stay again!
A very nice place. Bed is comfortable. We appreciate the in-room features. Floor was not that clean. We felt the need to wipe our bare feet all the time. We also would have preferred a door on the shower. Over spray made the floor wet. The bed and linens were clean. That's the most important thing. I was lost on the "Eco-friendly" rating. Who is the guest that verifies those efficiencies? Travelers want a clean comfortable room.

The hotel is clean, inviting and well- maintained, with a great restaurant right across a little street. It has all the amenities anyone could want. Most of all, though, Nicole, at the reception desk, was super helpful on every topic and in every way! She is an outstanding representative for Best Western, and an all around great person. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We have stayed in every season and it is like coming home. The front desk Tim and Lisa have been super always smile never hurried. We will be returning to Steubenville in late summer and Best Western will be our first choice.

Good enough for the night
I had a family member in the hospital and needed a place near by to stay. I picked this location based on location and reviews. I was on the first floor and the curtains didn't close all the way. As a woman traveling alone that made me a bit uncomfortable, paired with being given the room by the exit. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to at lot of things but not cleanliness. The stand next to the bed has something that was previously spilled down the side of it there was noticable dirt throughout. The sheets felt like there was crumbs in them. The bed was comfy if you didn't want to sit on it because the middle sink in and when you turned in bed it made a loud noise. It was good enough for one night of much needed sleep, but I would not recommend for a longer stay and not at the price they charge.

Our room was clean and very nice. My daughter loved staying in such a nice room. The bathroom was very nice and wverything was pretty clean. Just needed some regular maintenence like recaulking the shower. We picked this hotel because the other one nearby did not have a pool like this one. The pool was okay. It was not busy and we were able to use it on our night there. It was nice that they provided a shower in the pool area that you could rinse the chemicals off afterwards. However that water was very cold. The pool itself was not very warm either but at least it was not freezing cold like the shower. The phone in our room did not work so i had to walk to the main desk to ask for extra towels. Two girls with long hair need 2 towels each to shower. They were very friendly at the desk and quickly provided the extra towels. We were new to the area and asked the front desk staff questions on best places to park downtown, where to eat, etc. They were very friendly and very knowledgeable of the area. Very helpful to us. Check in and check out was very easy. Overall a very good hotel. I only wish the facilities out front had longer hours. They have a nice ice skating rink and some food places and shops right outside that you can walk to but they closed pretty early and were not open again u til after we had to checkout the next day.

the first shift staff was very nice and check in was easy but we got in late due to a concert and the third shift staff was extremely rude about something as simple as buying a protein shake from the snack area… not only that but i found a fingernail under my bed sheets!! the outside scenery was very beautiful and had food options on the outside.. it was a place to sleep for the night but it was a slightly below average experience..

Very Catholic But Not a Bad Hotel
Overall clean hotel, very safe no worries about that, staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Pictures on walls are off putting though it looks like someone took them with their phone and printed them out as canvases. It’s ALL pics of the college across the street. The room also had hair in multiple places in the bathroom but overall it was clean. The floors are wooden which is nice but there’s a rolling chair in the room and if the person above you likes to use it you will hear it completely. I had a person who sounded like they were stomping up until 12-1am. I called the front desk and they said they called them and I’m sure they did. But I had to throw my shoe at the ceiling to get them to stop. So just a forewarning about that. Breakfast was very basic for $150 too in a small town in Ohio. There’s not alot of hotel options in the area tho unless you want to commute to and from PGH. Free parking which is nice.
