"The house was very well presented, with all the amenaties you'd expect. The kitchen and bathrooms were especially great. We had a few minor issues that were sorted with the owner without much fuss - including replacing the toaster entirely as the old one gave up on us! "Visiting Chingford (where I'm from) From New Zealand is a pain, so having somewhere comfortable in a good location helped a lot! Rebecca's house was lovely, spacious and comfortable - and Rebecca is an accommodating host! The location was perfect with easy access into central London, for those days when we didn't want to travel into central we were able to explore the beauty of Epping forest as it was on our doorstep! I highly recommend the property and we will most certainly be booking again...

"It was a lovely gated community , safe and serene surrounded by nature . A bit far from train station though if you don’t have a car . Harold wood station is 9 minutes drive where you can catch the Elizabeth Line . The only concern was that a fob should be given to long term guests to get in and out of the main gate , that was a hassle . Otherwise I would highly recommend this stay ."

"The home is located in a neighborhood with sidewalks and easy access to parks, food, shopping, busses and trains. My room was cozy with many ammenities( mini fridge, coffee maker, tv). The mattress was magical as I slept so very well on it! The room was quiet, as was the neighborhood. Vera was a lovely hostess who made you feel as if her home was your home too. I would definately return and stay here!"

"Booking online can be scary as you have really no idea where you are in relation to where you want to be, especially when doing so in a different country.. Michael was helpful from beginning to end related to his home and navigating the area. At the last minute we needed to add an extra night due and he made this effortless. We appreciated his home and prompt response to communication."

"Place was very hot, broiler on top floor so that floor got to 92 degrees, 2nd floor too hot to sleep even with windows open. Left early asked for 1night refund no answer back. We went to hotel. (Days were 90, but cooled to 60 at night)"

"There was no clear communication on how to get into the property. I did ask 24 hours before arriving and it took multiple calls email and texts after we arrived to get a response. The stove top cooker needed to be repaired as it was not working, there was no hot water for the entire 5 days i was there and there is no clothes dryer. We searched the entire property inside and out. I did get a reimbursement for the inconvenience but it was still very disappointing."

"House was OK with adequate facilities, except microwave. Problem was we had absolutely no instructions for the operation of any of them. The dryer had an isolation switch (un labelled) that someone turned off and it took us some time to discover the reason for it not operating. The dish washer also failed to run properly and we believe it was due to a blocked filter. We hadn't used it initially so didn't discover the problem until near the end of our stay."

"We get good responsive action when we needed the flower and front garden cut. back garden need cutting, insect started entering the house, shower curtain need to be fixed but response, we mop water everyday after shower. We stayed over 3 weeks no cleaner to clean and we paid for cleaning each time we extend our stay. We will go else where so that the house can be cleaned when we leave instead of extending it and remain in the unkept environment. We stayed that long because of nearness to home...

"I had a large, simply furnished room in a quiet neighbourhood. The hosts, Koko and Joe were helpful and very welcoming. I enjoyed my stay there. Highly reccommended."

"As usual, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was functional, accessible, very accommodating, and clean. The only improvement opportunity I see is in the stiffness of the mattress in the bedroom, which is rather too soft for me, as I prefer slightly more rigid ones. The sofa bed should also be considered for potential replacement or upgrade. In all, splendid stay as usual"
