"The location is absolutely spot on for visiting Stamford. Stamford is wonderful,lots of interesting shops,eateries & pubs. Property has a small amount of parking,but there is also a huge town carpark just round the corner which cost us £5 ( Saturday 9 am - Sunday 10am)
The landlord was fabulous,he gave us a super welcome (homemade elderflower fizz - lovely) He even took our bag up the (many winding, narrow) stairs & when we came back from our evening we had a few drinks together & what an interesting man with fabulous stories to tell!
The building is very old ( 300 years) & as the owner says himself as it needs much attention & looking after.
The breakfast is in your mini fridge. Includes cereal,milk yoghurt,tea,coffee,orange juice,bread,jam etc…toaster & kettle in your room. It was a a great place for a one night stay & we were made to feel very welcome."
