"Enjoyed our stay in a garden room. Although the gardens aren’t totally finished it’s nice to see the progress being made and on a sunny day it’s nice to have direct access. Fantastic meal in the kitchen restaurant. We had dined in prevost on previous occasions but the standard of dishes in the other restaurant was great. Friendly reception when we arrived. Breakfast is fantastic. If you are looking for a night or two to relax in a pretty and period setting then this hotel is recommended."

"We had a most pleasant and relaxing break in our journey home. A most well run hotel, very cheerful and professional, very friendly and thoughtful with some nice touches like a saucer for tea bags and a sausages for our dog at breakfast. I heartily recommend this hotel and think that we may well visit again just explore the local area."
