We had a sea view room, which I must say had a fabulous view over the whole bay including Elizabeth Castle. It was also very clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. The Staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always seemed to have time for you. Beautiful views from the restaurant and bar/ terrace as well as good food made eating there very enjoyable. If I was going to have one small niggle, it would only be that it is not very well signposted from the main road. We caught the bus from the airport (very straightforward ) the bus driver sent us up a road with no pavement, bit scary as quite busy. It is signposted here but I think more for motorists than on foot as it takes you to the hotel carpark. The next road along the main road is absolutely fine and quiet and takes you up to the hotel through the hotel gardens. Very straightforward. We loved it and would definately stay again. Loved it.

Hotel offering relaxing stay

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: The position was great, the rooms were clean, facilities very good.
Cons: The mattress could be softer. The entrance is tricky to manoeuvre, but the hotel know this.
Location: Location was halfway between St Helier and St Aubin. Jersey has lots of things on offer. We enjoyed a visit to Elizabeth Castle.
Hotel Cristina is situated high above the sweep of St Aubin's Bay and offers great views of the shoreline. We had a hired car and were always able to find a parking space though mostly in the upper car park. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was of the normal hotel standard and it was pleasant to have the view of the bay while contemplating the day ahead. We also ate dinner in the Indigo Restaurant once and in the bistro twice, with the food being well presented and tasty. Our room was in the older part of the hotel overlooking the car park but we had no problems with noise or disturbance probably mainly because the clientele at the time seemed to be mostly older couples who were unlikely to create a din. Our only complaint would be with the comfort of the bed. The mattress was hard. It didn't stop us from having a good night's sleep, however a bit more give would have been welcome. It wouldn't stop us from staying here again.

The overall view from the Hotel was fabulous.

Posted 25-Sep-2016
Pros: The position of the Hotel was lovely and the views overlooking the bay.
Cons: Better access up to the Hotel. Kitchen staff who can cook bacon eggs and sausage, and make decent porridge.
Location: Walk down the hillside to the main coast road catch a bus into St Helier bus station and decide where to go.
When I booked this Hotel, after checking thoroughly what was offered then I went ahead with the booking. I have restricted mobility and having to face the trek up to the Hotel was a nightmare for me walking up a hill then climbing a total of 88 steps. I do feel the Hotel should be fare to inform customers of a nightmare they face walking to the Hotel. Also, breakfast was shocking if you wanted a cooked one, bacon and sausages half cooked eggs overcooked, porridge was stodge, everything else laid out was edible. This holiday was a special treat for us to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. We love Jersey and have been many times always staying a 4* Hotels, this one certainly did not come up to that standard.

Pros: Staff, views, space.
Cons: Our shower lacked water pressure, tea and coffee making facilities would have been nice also a fridge and mini bar.
Location: Easy access by bus to other parts of the island.
Beautiful views . Excellent food and staff in the restaurant.

Hübsches Hotel mit herrlichem Blick

Posted 22-Sep-2016

Quiet hotel, but bit of a climb back up from beach

Posted 18-Sep-2016
Pros: Views over bay lovely, restaurant food good and rooms comfortable.
Cons: Bar restaurant service
Location: Location okay for us, but if you have any walking difficulties there were quite a few steps up from the esplanade which were steep. Good bus service
Clean and comfortable hotel, good breakfast and food in restaurant also good. Restaurant staff efficient and friendly. Bar restaurant not as good, seemed disorganised and waiter always seemed to be stressed and dashing about even though it wasn't that busy. Reception staff helpful but not that welcoming. Bedroom always very warm, maybe due to heated swimming pool below.

Peaceful Hotel Beautiful views of St Aubins Bay

Posted 08-Sep-2016
Pros: The staff, location and the cleanliness of the hotel.
Cons: Needs air con in the summer months. Perhaps some new irons and ironboard covers
Location: If you don't want to hire a car the buses run frequently to all over the Island. Visit Plemont Bay, St Brelades and St Aubin
The hotel looks amazing and the staff were fantastic. You could not ask for better views. I visited with my mother for 4 nights starting on the 30/08/2016 ,our room was a nice size I would say that air conditioning would have been helpful but we did request a fan and this was given to us immediately. The staff in the bar and the restaurant are very friendly as was the porter and receptionists all staff are very helpful. If you are thinking about this hotel please be aware it is on a hill, to get down to the beach you can walk through the very pretty well kept garden which is lit in the evening or you can drive down. The entrance to the hotel has a very sharp turn but you can go up and come back down the hotel will provide you with instructions for this route. The hotel is very clean and well looked after. The terrace in the evening is stunning. The food was lovely and had plenty to choose from and would recommend an afternoon tea. Overall our stay was extremely enjoyable and cannot rate this hotel high enough.
