A room with a view
Our room which was on the first floor was pleasant, furnished to a good standard, with a nice clean en-suite (shower over bath style) attached. Room had standard terrestrial TV (with a few German stations thrown in). The Hotel is situated in a quiet residential area, which it overlooks. The main views though are of St Aubin's Bay, you can see from one end to the other. The lovely beach itself was a short walk from the Hotel, but you do have to cross quite a busy road to get there.
We were glad that we had decided to stay outside St Helier, the Christina itself is about a mile outside. There was no main road noise, a big plus for us as we prefer quieter Hotels. Though access to the Island's road system is just at the end of their long entrance drive, it was a bit tricky at first to negotiate as it is turns rather sharply off the main road.
We ate in a few times in the evening. Of the two restaurants available, we preferred the Terrace Bar. We cannot fault the Breakfast, it was help yourself and you had a large choice of both hot and cold dishes. Easily enough to keep you going for the day.
We enjoyed our stay here and would consider going back again.
