"I really cannot comment on the amenities as we didn’t use any due to being out all day touring. Location was great and rooms were nice and clean. A nice stay indeed!"

"The Nook was very clean and presentable, the only drawback was the to & Broadband had poor connection and was unable to find BBC or ITV.
Easy access to town was very important. We would happily stay again.

"We recently stayed at The Nook for a few days and, overall, had a pleasant stay, although there are a few areas that could be improved.
The apartment is quaint with an unusual but well-designed layout, and it felt spacious throughout. The kitchen was modern and well-equipped, with great appliances, a large fridge freezer and a washing machine. The beds were extremely comfortable, the lounge was cosy, and having TVs with Netflix in both bedrooms was a lovely touch. The bathroom was also very...

Superb grounds, and views over to St Ives and the sea.worthy of stately home gardens. Fabulous building, great food and comfortable room if tired, single glazed, blinds broken and hot water system not up to standard. If sorted it could be 5*.
Very steep walk to the beech and town

Well presented, clean and spacious. Great location for us, just close enough but far away enough to be able to avoid the town traffic when driving to and from the location. Off street parking is a major bonus as well. Would use again in the future.

Great place and as advertised with high end fixtures and fittings. Train really easy to St Ives. All parking tight in the area.
Coffee shop at the top is lovely and nice to go to Carbis Estate for a cocktail 4-6pm (2 for £20). Would recommend

The room was phenomenal, everything was provided by the host prior to our arrival and communication was clear and succinct. The cottage was clean and ready for myself and the family, and we had a great time, it was near St Ives and Carbis Bay which was a simple five minutes walk away from the cottage.
The stay would have been better if the parking was clearly listed and that the WiFi signal goes to the rear bedroom as well. But other than that it was a great experience. Would highly recommend...

We loved Carbis Bay best - the best beach. Very steep exciting walk to the beach or you can drive. Great local eateries, parking included and great base. Would love to return.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which area of St Ives, England, United Kingdom is best to stay in for convenient parking?
For convenient parking, the upper town area of St Ives, encompassing Trenwith, Station, and Park Avenue, stands out as the best choice. These areas offer excellent access to longer-stay car parks, and a weekly pass from Cornwall Council covers all of them, providing a stress-free solution for your vehicle.
While the harbour-side centre offers immediate access to the town's main sights, parking here is much more limited and typically short-stay. The charming "Downalong" harbour area, though very attractive to visitors, is not the most car-friendly due to its narrow streets and restricted parking options.
For those seeking both convenient parking and easy beach access, staying slightly further afield from the immediate town centre, perhaps with a short walk or a quick bus ride to the coast, can offer the ideal balance.
