Very generous "help yourself" breakfast of cereal toast, tea and coffee at whatever time suits you. St Bees is nice to walk round: with pubs and a little beach with a kids playground and a very good cafe. Lake District is next door by car, and the coastal railway to Lancaster or Carlisle is a delight."
