A particular mention of the restaurant manager (Maki); who on one occasion upon seeing my level of distress experiencing this kind of event while being away from home responded- "while you are away from home, separated from your own family- you become a part of ours here", numerous occasions during our stay you offered if we required "absolutely any assistance" possible to simply contact you, this individual is an absolute asset to Shangri-la chain, i can't emphasize that enough, he was incredibly helpful. I realise there is a certain level of expectation when staying at higher end accomodation, this experience excelled above and beyond. I would without hesitation recommend any family stay here, it's especially when the unexpected occurs travelling this kind of support exceeds any monetary considerations.
