Loved Hastings Street and fabulous apartment. My only concern was being asked to write down my credit card details, including CVC code and when I queried their security at Reception, was shown that they were just shoved in a pigeon hole at the front of reception desk, easily accessed by anyone! I refused to allow this and they then entered into the system. This was possibly down to our arrival after Reception closed on a Sunday but the paperwork could easily have just requested I visit Reception...

Superb hotel - so much nicer to stay somewhere with character/quirky rather than a standard chain. Fixtures a little worn but room v comfortable & spacious. Cocktail bar is wonderful & drinks/bar team exceptional. Continental breakfast was a nice bonus. Summary - stunning period hotel! 100% recommend for anyone visiting Brisbane

Check in was easy with no issues. Room was ready early with cot set up for our son (first hotel to have done this for us). Location close to central station but cant hear the trains so it is good. Nice cafe/bar downstairs to grab lunch from that was child friendly. Best room we stayed in. Large and spacious, clean with comfy bed. Has a pool, gym and bbq area with pool towels provided at gym area next to pool.

Always a great convenient place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay at Kennigo Hotel. The location was ideal for us, tucked away in a quiet, leafy part of Fortitude Valley but still close enough to walk into the heart of the Valley and explore Brisbane. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. We particularly liked how peaceful the hotel felt despite being so close to the city. The apartment was perfect for our short stay in Brisbane, its in a great location to the city centre within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, the service you get from reception on arrival and departure is first class. Thanks

Great location about a 400m walk to the centre square of Brisbane. Staff were polite and helpful. Had a good menu in the Bar. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great hotel and spot if visiting Brisbane.
