The downside is that there are cockroaches in the kitchen and we have to purchase a surface spray to get rid of them. The bed is also tough not comfortable. The bathroom is tired with joinery surfaces chipped and peeling. They take a security deposit off you, which if you use a credit card is a pain as they actually charge your card rather than place a hold on it. They don't explain this to you at check in, you get an email after you check out asking for options to refund! Don't know why they can't just use the hold facility or at least confirm refund details at check in! The apartment is in a very poor condition and quite dirty. Stained and threadbare carpet, couches and bed; blocked and stinking drains; rusty, mouldy, chipped and stained bathroom fittings and tiles. Wi-Fi internet router reboots every few minutes so is nearly unusable. We attempted to use the provided vacuum cleaner but it filled the apartment with a disgusting smell. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was very noisy, and wouldn’t work without the bedroom light also being on.
