But once you are there, you will be enchanted with the amazing property, the views, the pool and all of the magical forest sounds around you. "This was a very unique experience. The lodging was a shipping container and we went to sleep to the sound of coqui frogs and woke up to roosters crowing. The hosts were so personable and the breakfast was amazing, probably the best we had during our entire visit to the island. They have a friendly, but excitable dog. "The property itself is absolutely charming! Staff is welcoming & hospitable. I wouldn’t get discouraged about the area itself. There’s night life and great views alongside restaurants and plenty to do. Beds are comfortable, bathrooms are kept clean! A/C was great overall very satisfied. "

"To start you have to park a distance away and transport all your things across a makeshift bridge that is leaning to one side. You have to beal with roosters all over the place. The kitchen is in main level with minimal amenities and no ac.The upstairs was ok but the ac can only ho down to 70 and if you need anything from the kitchen you have to go outside and down stairs to get to it. Now onto the visit.I was notified a day or 2 before check in that there is a very bad smell in the area due to sargassum. We arrived and decided to try it out. The cleanercwas there and we could not go inside but the odor was bad. We looked for othef options and could not get a refund so 2 hrs later went inside. The smell was so bad that we had headaches and could not stand it after 30 min of being there and decided to leavr and message the owner. They were very helpful and said they would call vrbo to refund the moneyLater that night i called vrbo and they stated they will not refund anything because the owners stated complete opposite of wgat they said to us If i could i would give a negative 4 but i can only chose a obe star"

"The property is very nice and clean, well-kept, and located high in the mountains with a peaceful, country feel. You can even see El Yunque from the balcony. However, I was disappointed with the kitchen setup. While it is advertised as having a kitchen, there were no pots, no microwave, and not even basic utensils like knives to spread butter or cut anything. I couldn’t even heat milk for coffee or boil water for tea. I’ve used VRBO many times across the U.S., and this is the first time I’ve encountered such a limited kitchen. It made the stay less convenient than expected."

"We loved that there was jazz music on when we got there the first night because that's what I do every morning at my own house. Light a candle and put relaxing jazz music. Rooms were tidy, ambiance was fresh, beds were soooo comfy...OMG!
Places to eat near-by were awesome. We had the gym to ourselves on the 2nd day so we enjoyed it very much.
Not a fan of cats (sorry, just dog lover) so I didn't like it much that there were cats out hanging around the patio set. We couldn't go out to enjoy the sun because they were just there. Staring. And it felt creepy. So, we had to leave the door shut.
Parking was right in front of the entrance even though we had to use stairs to get to the apartment on the first floor. I thought my knees would resent that but it was ok. I needed the exercise anyway.
Didn't get a chance to go to the pool but no worries. Beaches were really close so we had a great time sunbathing there. Weather was also great. Host was always there to help when we needed something so that gave us reassurance and peace of mind."
