My wife and I booked 2 nights in this Bed & Breakfast establishment because we thought it looked fantastic and the reviews were excellent and we had promised ourselves a special break away from home that was something to remember. Ideally situated near to M6 motorway junction 42 and 43. Lovely country location. Clean and comfortable rooms (fan provided) good food and friendly staff. Beautiful mature gardens. Plenty of free on site parking,free Wi-Fi. Food and accommodation reasonably priced.

we were made welcome as soon as we arrived, the rooms are big and so are the bathrooms. the value for money was exceptional. free parking and a nice english breakfast included in the price.all in all fab stay

My wife and I stayed here for one night 20-8-26, the place is really easy to find, located in a village out in the countryside a few miles from Carlisle. Everything about the place is great, the food, the beer, the location and car parking. Best of all are the staff, really friendly and helpful. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming they were superb. We were sorry the restaurant and bar were shut and there was no hot option for breakfast. (We stayed Sunday to Monday)

It was immaculate and in an ideal location for me. The room was lovely and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were friendly and approachable and the car is secure, Nothing to fault.

I stayed in the annex luxury apartments which are fantastic. Amazing comfortable king size bed. Luxury bathroom and living area - like a suite set up. Two large TVs and kitchen - the sort of place you would buy.

The owner was extremely attentive, even got some decaf coffee for our room. We were able to book into our room early which was very convenient. The room was very clean and even little touches like cotton buds and cotton wool in the bathroom didn’t go unnoticed. The breakfast, wow, excellent, such a hearty meal, lots to choose from again the owner remembered I drank decaf. We arrived to a lovely friendly greeting from Suruchi, we were given a walk around of the property, offered information on things to do and places to go. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this property again on another stay in the lakes. Thank you for making our 4 night stay so memorable.
