"The shower was not working upon arrival. The next day, the shower worked, but it was leaking heavily. Also, I dropped a vitamin on the floor. When I went to pick it up, I looked under the bed. The floor under the bed was filthy. "

"This hotel was just about perfect! From it's incredible location, ocean views, sumptuous breakfast and friendly staff, we really loved staying here. You can easily walk to the main restaurant district in Camp's Bay. By easy, I mean one block. The only problem is actually finding the hotel and parking. You have to approach from the alley in the back and the parking is quite unusual. Don't trust your navigation system! But the trouble is worth it! "

The only negative was not being offered assistance by the staff on duty to assist with the bags. Steep stairs to the room, so assistance would have been welcome. Apart from that, enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. "

"The lodge is situated amongs the wineyards and is really a pleasure to stay at. Rooms are great, bathrooms has everything you require and the bed is very comfartable. You even get a bottle of red wine when you enter your room complimentary from the owners."

What are some issues: (1) No Liquor License although as of this date the property is applying for one, and hopefully when that is issued they will keep the restaurant open in the evening. (2) Noise. Some units far more private than others. Parking tight but ok . Area beautuful and perfect location. House needs some attentiin w new towels etc but all ok and functional. Id stay again but in different unit."
