"Best place to stay if you have the slightest concerns about safety. It is directly connected to the One & Only hotel, and has excellent security. Apartments are high quality, we regularly stay with Hilton, Radisson, Marriot and they were better than these. Highly recommended."

"Loved the apartments. All appliances and furniture is modern and clean. However, it is extremely noisy. Guests are not respectful of resting hours. People scream and shout in the corridors it’s unbelievable. Cleaning staff speaks loud too. But overall a really good place to stay, with reasonable prices. "

"I was very happy at One Calais, everything was clean and worked. Check in was simple and the room well fitted out. The apartment is in a nice area and very close to all the restaurant and shops in Sea Point. The only thing you guys need to invest in is a generator or solar. The load shedding is a pain."

"Wonderful place to stay and very secure. Front staff were extremely helpful and pleasant to deal with and accommodated us with an early check-in as the room was vacant which really helped us tremendously. It was perfect for our needs (business), however it may be a bit noisy from the traffic if you're on holiday and would like to sleep in late."

Very convenient for V&A Waterfront - 10 minute walk or around 45 ZAR in Uber. Good communication with booking agent throughout. "The check-in process was frustrating. Guests are required to sit outside locked doors while wait for checkin at 3pm CAT. The reservations team is supposed to send guest’s registration link and access QR code but they refuse to send it before time because their checkin time is 3pm. I was there at 11am and had to wait outside the front door while waiting for access and was with other guests who experienced the same infuriating service. Especially for those of us coming from colder climates not used to the heat there. Check in process could be better too .
