Lovely little harbour in the south of Salt Spring Island where the ferries for Swartz bay on Vancouver Island leave.

Approaching Long Harbour, Salt Spring Island by ferry from Tsawwassen ferry terminal, Vancouver. Salt Spring is one of the Gulf Islands in the Strait of Georgia between mainland British Columbia, Canada and Vancouver Island. It is the largest, most populous and most frequently visited of the Southern Gulf Islands. Nonetheless it is stunningly beautiful and has a peaceful and tranquil feel away from the main town of Ganges.

Ferry arriving at the terminal at Galiano Island on a beautiful autumn day, only a 40 minutes ferry ride from Vancouver. It's 27.5km long and no more than 6km wide, giving access to lots of scenic places for a variety of outdoor activities and island explorations along the way.
