I went looking for the gym, passing through a rabbit warren of passages, until I saw a removable screen, I looked behind the screen, only to find small room full of broken equipment. Clearly it had been out of commission for a long while. "

"Nice clean and comfortable room but it overlooked the road by the main entrance and I was disturbed early morning by road noise. Smokers occasionally smoke at the hotel entrance waft smoke as you walk in or out. "

"Lovely friendly recetion staff. We stayed in a quiet ground floor room with our dog which was very large and had seaviews. We were close to entrance to garden and the bar/ restruant. Car parking is £9 per night. Breakfast is a buffet with good choice for £12.50 pp. They also do dog food. Location is great being few minutes from sea front and restruants. Town centre is about 15 minutes walk along the beach. Torquay is lovely but we also visited Paignton nearby which we found had more going on. There are lots of walks for dogs in and around the area. The hotel was great although a little tired. Backs onto a bowls club and crazy golf and gardens. "
