"The Bahia has a cutesy classic charm. Amazing scenic views around Mission Bay and a beautiful beach and downtown nearby. Which is why overall I am giving the resort a 3 vs a 2 star. The reason why is the room wasn’t 100% clean throughout the stay. Housekeeping didn’t come back after we requested them to. The room was allowed to fill up with trash and dirty linens over 2 days. If I hadn’t called down to request housekeeping I’m not sure when or if they would have come back. Also when I initially had to call to adjust my reservation it took 3 separate front desk people to take care of me, and it came down to their discretion and not a policy. Finally the pool onsite was closed which should be a discounted rate for guests. "

"Great location for a Padres game and any other Gaslamp District adventures. Tons of great restaurant and bars located near the hotel, including a Trolley stop just across the street! "

"Valet parking was easy, although there was no one out front when we arrived, so we had to get out of the car to go in to find the valet. The front desk was friendly especially in the mornings. Late checkout was easy. Overall - hassle free and exceeded expectations. Although the light under the sink didn't seem to turn off which I thought was strange. "
