Older hotel in town

Posted 21-May-2017
Pros: Early check in, location and clean hotel.
Cons: Weather stripping around the doors and upgrade the Windows.
Easy access to activities, resturants and sights. Allowed early check-in and check out was as easy as leaving the key card in the room. Older hotel with leaky doors (wind and outside noises) but clean and a reasonable price. Would likely stay here again.

key card did not work

Posted 13-Apr-2017
I returned to hotel after work around 8:30 p.m. and the key card would not let me enter my room. I stood outside in the wind, rain, hail and lightning until I was let in my room.

Nice room, pet friendly, decent price

Posted 29-Mar-2017
Last minute booking in Brookings, Oregon on a Sunday night and hadn't planned on traveling with my dog. One of the least expensive hotels that would allow pets. Pet friendly room had hardwood or laminate flooring which was very clean and the room was quiet (maybe because it was Sunday night and we were towards the back of the complex) I would ask for that room even if I didn't have a dog. My only complaint was the mattress wasn't a traditional mattress. It didn't have any support. Otherwise, very happy with the room.

Clean and Convenient Hotel

This hotel is always clean and comfortable. It isn't modern, but it meets needs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are a few grab and go items available to eat in the mornings.

Better than a "Motel"!

Posted 26-Feb-2017 on Hotels
Everything was great. No problems, no issues. Maid service didn't just assume to come in, they actually called to see if I wanted it or not. Good amenities, good water pressure, coffee, fridge, micro, tv, computer table setup ok, bed was very comfortable. Clean and well put together and kept, definetely not a "motel" in my mind. Rivals rooms I've spent time in that were $120+ a night for much less. Staff was very friendly and available for anything I needed. I accidentally left one of my suitcases and they called to tell me and will hold it for me (they would have shipped it as well, but I will be coming back). All in all a great room at the price and more than I expected. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here and it was very consistent from the first stay.

Rain rain go away

Posted 26-Jan-2017 on Hotels
Aside from the rain off and on all day long it was a nice visit. There is only 1 main drag and not much to do in Brookings.

It was nice, comfortable and clean.

Posted 27-Nov-2016
Pros: We slept well and that means a lot to us.
Cons: Nothing I can think of;
Location: There is the river about a mile away and you can go fishing there, plus just the ride up the road nxt to the river is very enjoyable.
We enjoyed our stay and it wasn't too far to the beach. We would definitely stay there again.
